Denon DHT-487DV Home Theater Surround Sound System?
I have a problem with power subwoofer of my Denon DHT-487DV Home Theater Surround Sound System. It makes popping sounds several times a day. I took it to a local electronics shop and they soldered connections and fixed power supply of the device. It is better than it was, but still pops. I have extra cable loop length and tied near the subwoofer. Can this cable be the cause of the jumps I hear? It seems tight, but it is just snuggly in the socket. There is nothing for me to tighten. Any suggestions? It works fine except for the annoying popping.
To isolate the problem .... Take the subwoofer completely, but leave it ... if come without it's connected, it is in the subwoofer ....( do not forget to disable the Auto On feature) If it comes with only the insured, it could be the amplifier or audio source .... To isolate it to the amplifier or audio source, you can try other sources and see if it pops .... if it does, it is reinforced, if not then it is probably the source ..... yes then you need to get it to act up and connect audio cables from the suspected source of sound pop ..... If it closes immediately, so the source is bad .....
