Need a code to make a MDVD65 Magnavox DVD player region free. (Live in Region 4)?
I have a Magnavox MDVD65 Region 4 DVD player and want play region 1 DVDs. I have searched the internet all day, but can not find anything. A place said to enter the following: 330,880 for opening the DVD tray but nothing happens. Something should come up on the screen after you type this? Or should it be addressed?
I have also tried to find a hack for your player, but all I can find is this: Power Press Open / Close button, press these buttons in sequence: 330,880 Close tray (press Open / Close again) Turn ** Also: Region 1 is 330,881, 330,884 are Region 4 and so on. The software of the player is not a state of the art, so I do not think it has a popup window for the region code.Just follow the instructions without concern about screen! When you power off the player settings are change and good luck!
